The Board of Directors of ACTFA is looking for a few good men and women from its membership or from those who follow our Cesky Terriers and wish to help the breed. These men and women are wanted to serve on our Board of Directors.

There are two ways to become a Board Member:

If you are an Active Member, you can run for an office at any time. If elected you would be required to serve for a period of three years and attend Board meetings (only one requires you meet face-to-face with other Board Members and this is normally held at our annual specialty). Additionally you would be required to serve on a committee of your choosing and actively participate in those committee activities. You would have full voting participation in all Board decisions beginning immediately.

If you are an Associate Member you can run for an office at any time and if elected be required to serve one year as an Associate Board Member learning the ropes and participating in Board Meetings (as described in the text for an active member) and would be expected to work on one of our existing committees as an associate. Following this intern year you would be considered a full member of the Board with full voting rights.
